- How art is important to keep in curriculum because it is a basic tool to help teach students how to cope with stress, show their creativeness, and deal with life
- Talk about the STEM vs. STEAM and how YoYo Ma believes that art is a big part of learning and being a person
- Talk about how Creative IQ levels have dropped in school districts due to the lack of funding for the liberal arts programs
- Talk about the mental health affects on students and the work load they have, the school day and how it affects their brains by not getting a creative break
- How students often feel pressure to be perfectionists and have to do everything structured meaning they are suffering the loss of creativity
- Talk about how it isn’t required for students to have to take an arts/creative class and how it is merely and option now
- How students and people have trouble understanding one another and expressing themselves and that can be because the lack of the arts because art brings us together
- Throughly talk about an our experience I have had with art and how it has brought me closer to people. Example: music interests, creating art to help decrease stress, how I was suggested to take an art class in high school to decrease my stress levels
- Make sure my thesis is strong and broad
- Have supporting evidence and multiple quotes and examples
- Keep description strong
- Smooth transitions
- Converse with the authors
- Try a naysayer
- Have conclusion wrap up everything I said in the previous paragraphs nicely
